After living in the Bay area for just under a year, the Sorenson's and our schedules finally aligned. We had some tickets to an A's game and had so much fun, we didn't even notice the A's lost. There was a guy there who put some inserts into his eyes that looked like ping pong balls with a small holes cut out so he could see. He was walking around making weird noises at people while looking at them strangely. A little boy started crying he was so scared. I wish we had taken a picture. Afterwards, we headed over to the Sorenson's for some delicious Mennonite carrot cake and to check out their roof-top view of the city.
