Carmel-by-the-Sea

Thanks to Shelley's aunt and uncle, we were able to take a nice, relaxing weekend vacation down to Carmel-by-the-Sea. We stayed in the Hyatt Highlands Inn.

The view was breathtaking. We also really enjoyed the wood burning fireplace. They even provided all the wood, all you had to do was go outside and get more if you needed it.

Friday night, we had dinner at Tarpy’s Roadhouse.

On Saturday, we ventured into Monterey and visited Cannery Row and the famous Monterey Bay Aquarium. It was interesting, but not sure if it was worth the pricey admission fee.

On the drive home, we had to stop at a roadside stand in Castroville to pick up freshly picked artichokes.

Hey, long lost friends. Looks like you two are having a good time away from Utah. Good to read up on ya.
